Chief Master Sergeant Jose A. LugoSantiago is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for the Air Force Installations & Mission Support Center.

As the senior enlisted leader in the command, he is charged with presenting to the Commander, Air Force Installations & Mission Support Center, an enlisted force that is mission and combat ready. He takes action to improve and correct shortfalls on mission effectiveness, professional development, military readiness, and utilization of the command’s workforce.

Chief LugoSantiago entered the Air Force in 1990. His diverse background includes service in three career fields: Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (Metrology and Calibration), Professional Military Education, and Air Force Basic Military Training Instructor (MTI). He has served in various assignments in the CONUS and Overseas to include deploying in support of Operations IRAQI and ENDURING FREEDOM and Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa. Prior to his current assignment, the Chief served as Command Chief Master Sergeant for the Air Force District of Washington (headquartered at Joint Base Andrews, MD), overseeing professional development, sustainment training, and effective utilization of more than 40,000 personnel assigned to AFDW and Air Force Elements worldwide.
